Mirage

He was bent
Hands on head sadly pressed..
Tortured figure with
Creased pale face..
Eyes hollow blank
With no expressions...
Trying to find himself
In the lonely path...
Heart sobbing
As if trying to find
lost emotions..

Legs weak trembling
Unable to maintain the posture...
His umpteen efforts in vain
To tread his path...
Lost his confidence
In mid and the destination was far...
Waiting for someone
To guide him forward...
To bring him back to his normal self...

And finally he did himself....
Was able to achieve
The destination he set...
None came for help
But the canary
Who just learned to fly....
Gave him the lesson
To try ,try and try...
And I was happy to see
Him smile,jostled around...
Nothing changed
But his state of mind..
He was inspired to move forward...


I was watching him from far..

Now just thinking
He really existed ?
Or
Was it just a mirage?
Was it my self depiction?
And was the canary people around
Who inspired my way of life?
Clueless....But Yes.. It was true...
It was just a mirage....
